Welcome to MSG Brad Richards
Finally the Rangers have a front line center that can be the play maker they so desperately needed. Gaborik now has someone to feed him the puck and create chances for him, which he has a hard time doing by himself. The Rangers didn't over pay him, as other teams offered him more money, and they have him for the prime of his career. He actually picked New York as the place he wanted to play because he fully understands that if you win in New York, you are a sport superstar for the entire country (talk to Mark Messier, Derek Jeter, and even Eli Manning). With the addition of Mike Rupp and if they sign back Dubi, Callahan, and some of the other restricted free agents, this team COULD (not making any predictions here), make a deep cup run. With King Henry in goal, anything is possible.
